Foundation Governor Appointments
foundation governors
The role of Foundation Governor is a vocational one. In John Chapter 13 we read this:
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
For all those who offer a vocation to governance in loving service of our school family – we are deeply grateful. This work supports that of the headteacher and staff, colleague governors, and makes a difference to the lives of children and young people.
Please be assured of our prayers for all those who undertake this important task.

timescales
Having a gap in a term of office or a vacancy on the Governing Body can be inconvenient and may cause difficulties that can easily be avoided. It is important therefore to ensure that applications are submitted in good time so that they can be processed and approved without leaving a gap. The following dates are intended to clarify the timescales within which paperwork needs to be submitted and completed (i.e. with PCC approval, incumbent reference).1-2022
